Phantom Hourglass
This game is so much fun.
I’ve played games on my DS before, but they were pretty much old school and/or GBA games that they just happened to create for the DS. Phantom Hourglass is completely interactive, which amuses me highly. Between that & it being part of my favorite video game series ever, well… it makes up for my boredom in Wind Waker (which I am, in retrospect, starting to appreciate more, but that’s a completely different topic).
The game isn’t exactly difficult. I’m figuring out puzzles quite easily and running through temples like I own them. (Not like I’m that far into the game, but still.) Using the stylus to move around messed me up at first, and I still haven’t quite mastered the art of rolling, but it’s managable. And I love when I have to actually yell at enemies to defeat them, because any good gamer yells at enemies, anyway.
This is one I obviously can’t play on my train ride home.
I’m hoping Spirit Tracks amuses me just as much.
Though it must. He’s on a train. I love trains.
