Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones
This took me the better part of two months to get through, as I generally only played during lunch hour. And it had the tendency to get on my nerves. At least I can look at it now and figure what I’d do different next time. But near the end, when an enemy’s might was greater than my character’s hit points, it got really depressing. And frustrating. I mean, heck, how was I supposed to beat anyone if Innes, my best archer, didn’t do any damage? Honestly.

But this game has the best characters. At least, the ones that still survived at the end (meaning, all my paladins). And I may still be found humming the music while I walk. Clearly I enjoyed it, despite how many times I muttered at myself. If I didn’t restart every time I accidentally left Artur in the path of the enemy, well, it wouldn’t have taken me two months to finish. I’ll start it again someday.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
We know how much I love this story, thanks to my many praises of Radiant Dawn. (Found here, here, and here.) So it should come to no surprise that 1) I felt a similar love for this game, and 2) I beat it within three weeks (Mainly weekends. Who has time for proper gaming during the week?).

Needless to say, as soon as I completed it, I started Radiant Dawn again. Obviously I have a new favorite game (But don’t fret. Nothing surpases my addiction to Twilight Princess).

Honestly, I do need to get back to Wind Waker soon.
